The government has long discussed the need to launch a state insurance program against war risks for businesses. At the end of August, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Danilo Hetmantsev wrote, that the work done in this direction is yielding results, and the Cabinet of Ministers will launch an effective insurance program.

"To do this, we need to vote on minor amendments to the status of the Export Credit Agency and to the law, and to make a decision at the Cabinet level regarding the budget program. The expenditures are moderate," the MP noted.

The program was planned to launch in October, but final decisions have not yet been made: necessary legislative changes, determination of funding sources, and coordination of details with international partners are required. More details on the launch prospects are in the article LIGA.net.
